I am very proud of my Yorkshire roots and particularly enjoy writing about the wonderful places the region has to offer.
My history articles have covered various subject areas, from The Vatican through to a tiny medieval shrine in a Yorkshire village. I love to share my enthusiasm with readers and like to think that people might discover a new place to visit through my writing.
I am a mum to three young children and enjoy working part time. This has given me a good understanding of school life, childcare issues and most of all, has taught me how to make the most of the limited time that I have. I get more writing done in a few hours each day now than I ever did when I had unlimited time at my disposal!
